Named "The Desert Miracle" this golf club is managed by the government's organization Dubai Golf(DG), it offers two courses:
- Majlis
- The Faldo
The Majlis was born in 1987 and it features par 72, 7,301-yard layout. It was the first grass course in the Middle East and takes its name from the Arabic word for 'meeting place'.
The Majlis features hundreds of indigenous species of flora and fauna, beautifully complemented by meandering fairways and seven fresh and saltwater lakes.
The Faldo
Opened in 1996 as "Wadi" it has been redesigned from the six time major winner Nick Faldo in the 2006 since then called "The Faldo".
A par-73, the course has proved to be as popular as ever and lures players to the challenge of its 7,348 yards.
